About WLogger v2
WLogger is a TV, FM and VHF propagation service of WTFDA. It was developed by Bryce Foster and is a service open to members of WTFDA. The Logger is primarily focused on DX heard in North America, Central America and the Carribean.
Quick Find and Log
Quick Find and Log ("QF&L") is a key new feature of the second version of WLogger.
QF&L uses external data sources to quickly find the station you are logging. These external data sources offer a reliable connection to real-time data. However, given that they are outside of the control of WLogger and WTFDA, there is always a possibility for outages, changes and errors. User beware!
To use QF&L:
- Enter the callsign or frequency of the station you are logging in the search box.
- Click the "Find" button.
- Add a comment, and make sure to select your propagation mode.
- Click the "Submit" button to log the station.
Manual Log
Manual Log is the original method of logging stations in WLogger. It is still available in the second version of WLogger.
To manually log a station:
- Follow the link to "Enter Log Manually..."
- Enter the callsign or frequency of the station you are logging in the search box.
- Enter the date and time of the log.
- Add a comment, and make sure to select your propagation mode.
- Click the "Submit" button to log the station.
